Does Worql replace Jira or existing project management?
No. Keep operational planning, tasks and engineering work in your existing tools. Worql connects the commercial context: what was agreed, what changed, which evidence matters and who authorized the next step.
Does my client need a subscription?
Basic participation in a shared engagement requires no client subscription. Optional Buyer Insights is a separate $49 one-time purchase per engagement. That purchase adds buy-side analysis; it is not required simply to participate.
Does my client need an account to use the client view?
Yes. Invited clients sign in with an account and claim the engagement into their organization. The client view and controlled milestone review use authenticated access. Participation without a subscription does not mean accountless access.
What is an active engagement?
An engagement is the commercial record for a piece of client work: its agreement, changes, evidence, decisions and handoff state. Active engagements are ongoing records rather than individual tasks. Paid plans do not impose a numerical cap on active engagements.
Are users charged individually?
No. The subscription belongs to the organization that owns the engagements. Paid plans include unlimited vendor-side seats, so delivery, commercial and finance colleagues can use the same record without per-user pricing.
What if we manage dozens or hundreds of concurrent engagements?
Both public paid plans allow unlimited active engagements. Choose the processing allowance that fits the work your organization performs. Portfolio adds capacity and diligence capabilities. For higher processing requirements or additional compliance administration, discuss Enterprise.
What integrations are available?
GitHub, Jira and Slack connection and intake paths are implemented. Coverage requires the relevant app installation, organization or repository link, permissions and consent. Live provider processing is not independently verified for every deployment. Confirm the sources and workflows you need during an engagement review.
How does Worql handle fixed-price and T&M engagements?
Fixed-price work connects agreed fees, deliverables and milestone decisions. T&M controls connect time records, rates and caps to the executed baseline. Live rate and cap changes require an applied change order; cap consumption remains cumulative. Your financial system handles invoicing and accounting.
What happens when the signed scope changes?
A potential discrepancy becomes a review item, not an automatic contract change. The team prepares the proposed treatment and obtains the required authorization. Where an amendment is needed, the governing baseline changes only through execution by the parties. Prior versions remain identifiable. Change orders and amendments have no separate monthly usage meter.
Does Worql approve changes automatically?
No. Adaptive uses deterministic rules, configured policy and recorded facts to select the procedure an action requires. A person with authority makes the commercial decision. AI suggestions, source observations and merged pull requests do not approve a change or constitute contractual acceptance.
Does Worql issue invoices or process payments?
No. A milestone decision creates commercial context for finance review. It does not cause Worql to issue an invoice, recognize revenue or move engagement funds. Your finance team and existing systems retain those responsibilities.
How does the free trial work?
Eligible first-time subscribers receive a 30-day trial. Checkout collects a payment card. The first subscription charge occurs when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. Returning subscribers may not be eligible. There is no publicly sold permanent Free subscription.
What separates Practice and Portfolio?
The core commercial governance platform is shared. The plan table shows the current SoW assembly, Quote Guard and repository-check allowances. Portfolio additionally includes counterparty KYB, multi-baseline quote comparison and the corridor obligation calendar. Choose based on volume and those capabilities.
When should we discuss Enterprise?
Discuss Enterprise when multiple delivery teams, higher processing volumes or organizational policy requirements make procurement more involved. Enterprise adds the corridor compliance tracker and higher audit allowances. Pricing is quoted for your organization; no standard Enterprise price is advertised here.
